My Online Services

There are various ways you can manage your pension online:

Member Website

The website you are currently on has a lot of generic information about the Cadent Gas Pension Scheme and the Scheme benefits.

You do not need a log in to access the website, and you can find the information relevant to your membership category by visiting the homepage here: https://cadentgaspensions.com/

You can also use the menu in the top right-hand corner of the homepage to navigate around the site, and there is a search function within the menu if you cannot easily find what you are looking for.

To Register for OneView

To log into OneView for the first time, you need to use the activation codes that were issued to you when you were first informed you could use the system.

If these codes have expired, or you do not have the codes, please get in touch with the pensions team at Mercer using the Contact Mercer Admin (CMA) details below and they will be able to arrange for your access to the portal.

My Retirement Planner

My Retirement Planner is designed for active and deferred members who are within a year of their earliest Scheme retirement age. For most people, that will be age 54 and over, but for some deferred members it may be younger, depending on their reason for leaving the company.

It’s a secure website that uses your Scheme figures to take you through a series of retirement options. As you approach retirement, it lets you customise certain aspects to show a range of different illustrations and outcomes, with links through to additional support and guidance.

You can use My Retirement Planner to monitor your retirement options and consider your retirement needs. The options you have may change over time so we recommend visiting the Planner regularly so you can consider your retirement options.

My Retirement Planner is accessed through OneView, please see details of how to access OneView above.

Independent Financial Advice

The Trustees are not able to provide you with advice about your pension. However, to help members when reviewing their options at retirement, they have arranged to provide access to independent financial advice from a specialist firm of independent financial advisers. The Trustees’ chosen provider is WPSA, authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, who have detailed knowledge of the Scheme’s Rules.

If you’re an active or deferred member, within a year of your earliest Scheme retirement age (usually age 54) you can receive impartial financial advice from the Trustee’s chosen provider, based on your retirement figures and specific circumstances, and for most people this financial advice will be paid for by the Trustees. Please consider carefully the timing of when you take advice, as the Trustees will only pay for this financial advice once.

More information about the independent financial advice service provided by the Trustee is available on My Retirement Planner (see above).

Contact Mercer Admin (CMA)

CMA is a secure digital portal where you can raise new requests with Mercer or respond to a request from Mercer to complete a form or provide supporting documentation. The site allows you to upload scanned photos or images of the completed documents rather than send them by post. Any information provided by you to the site will be encrypted and is only accessible by authorised Mercer employees.

CMA can be accessed via a laptop, PC or mobile device, either within OneView, or directly at:  https://contact.mercer.com/
