Updating your nominations
As a deferred member, you still get valuable protection for your family if you die.
You can nominate more than one person and indicate what percentage you’d like them to receive. To let us know who you’d like to receive the lump sum, or to update your beneficiaries at any time:
If you use My Online Services:
- Log into My Online Services
- Fill in the Letter of Intent form
- The details will be updated immediately.
If you don’t use My Online Services:
- Print and complete the Letter of Intent form
- Send it to us in the post (address is on the form)
- Details will be updated and we’ll confirm the changes have been done.
Nominate someone to receive a dependant’s pension
If you’re not married or in a civil partnership, you can nominate:
- a partner
- an aged parent
- a disabled child who isn’t able to support themselves financially.
In the event of your death, the people you have nominated will need to provide evidence of their financial dependency or interdependency.
If you use My Online Services:
- Login to My Online Services.
- Fill in the Dependant Nomination form on the homepage.
- The details will be updated immediately.
If you don’t use My Online Services:
- Print and complete the Dependant Nomination form.
- Send it to us in the post (address is on the form).
- Details will be updated and we’ll confirm the changes have been done.
